SilverFox Fishing Charters. I'm your Captain, Scott Bengsch and the first mate on your charter is my Father, Hans Bengsch. I began fishing Lake Ontario with my Father in the mid 1980's. Over the years I have developed a great passion for trolling Trout & Salmon. Due to the ever changing conditions of the lake over the years, my Father and I are constantly experimenting new techniques to put more fish in the boat. Our reputation and awards speak for themselves.
Our season starts in April with the shoreline Brown Trout fishing. As we move into May and June the Coho, Rainbow and King Salmon fishing gets red hot within a few miles from shore. During the months of July and August the abundance of Kings are our main target. Also, the Brown Trout bite picks up in these months. September targets staging King and Coho Salmon inside a couple miles of port. If we find the bite is slow inside, we will travel offshore for the fantastic action of Rainbow Trout and the two to three year old King Salmon.
